ROMEO AND JULIET BY ANDREW MATTHEWS AND TONY ROSS
The book I finished reading was Romeo and Juliet. While this story was originally written by William Shakespeare, the version I read was an adaptation by Andrew Matthews and Tony Ross.
They two main characters are Romeo and Juliet. They met each other at The Lord Capulets house and it is known as the brightest place in Verona. When Romeo saw Juliet he came up to her and grabbed her by the hand so he could introduced him to her. After Tybalt, (Juliet's cousin) saw Romeo holding Juliets hand and was angrily walking towards the door, the Lord Capulet grabbed Tybalt by the arm and asked where he was going.
This part was during the start, it caught my eye because it was a sign of jealousy and selfishness. I didn't really like it because Tybalt seemed like he didn't want Juliet to be with anyone. But everyone deserves more than a best friend in their life.
The strategies I used was by inferring "recognised the young man who was holding Juliet's hand, and strode angrily towards the door". Meaning Tybalt gets angry easily and not letting people do what they want.
The ages 13-18 would highly be classified for this book because it tells us a love story and ages 13-18 would have lots of knowledge to a love life story like Romeo and Juliet.
